Veg American Chopsuey

Ingredients 
  • 3 spoon cooking Oil + for frying
  • 2 spoon Ginger Garlic Chilli paste or according to your taste
  • 1 medium size chopped onion
  • 3 spoon chopped Mushroom
  • 2 spoon chopped Red capsicum
  • 3 spoon chopped Brocolli
  • 2 spoon chopped Carrot
  • 6 medium size tomato Puree
  • 5 packets Maggi/Instant Noodles
  • Pinch of crushed black pepper
  • 1/2 spoon Soya sauce
  • 1/2 spoon white vinegar
  • 1 small spoon sugar
  • Salt as per taste

Take one fry pan

Add two spoon oil 

Add two spoon Ginger Garlic Chilli paste

Cook till it becomes little brown color

Add one medium size chopped onion

Add three spoon  chopped Mushroom

Two spoon chopped Red Bell peppers

2 spoon chopped Brocolli

2 spoon  chopped carrot

Sautee Vegetables

Add crushed black pepper

 Add salt 

Add half spoon soya sauce

Add  half spoon white vinegar

Mix well

Boil 6 medium size tomatoes

Grind it in a grinder to smooth paste

Add tomato puree to sauteed vegetables

Mix  well

Add salt

Add sugar

Mix well

 sauce is ready 

Take one big vessel and add one and half litre water

Add 5 packets Maggi noodles or instant noodles

Boil for 7-8 minutes, do not overcook

Take one big vessel and strainer

Strain  noodles

Spread boiled noodles so will not stick 

Take one wok

Add sufficient oil to  fry noodles

Take handful of boiled noodles for frying as shown in the video

when one side becomes crispy flip the side

Fry both the sides till it becomes golden brown

Fry all the noodles 

Remove it on tissue paper to absorb extra oil

Take one bowl for serving

Take fried noodles

Pour sauce on top and serve

American Chopsuey is ready to serve

Ingredient List

  • 100 gram couscous of your choice
  • 3 spoon boiled Chickpeas
  • 2 spoon chopped Cucumber
  • 2 spoon chopped Brocolli
  • 2 spoon Sweet corn
  • 1 spoon chopped Red peeper
  • 2 spoon chopped tomato
  • 2 spoon chopped carrot
  • Chopped Fresh coriander
  • Few Mint Leaves
  • Pinch of Black pepper
  • 1 spoon Olive oil
  • Few drops of Lemon juice
  • Salt as per taste

Procedure 

Take one litre water

Add 100 gram pearl couscous or couscous of your choice (you can boil couscous as per packet instruction)

Will take 10 minutes to boil or please read  couscous packet instruction before boiling couscous

Strain the boiled couscous

Add salt as per your taste and spraed couscous so does not stick

Take one fry pan and add one spoon oil

Add two spoon chopped Brocolli, two spoon sweet corn, one spoon red pepper and sautee for  one minute

Switch off  the flame

Add boiled pearl couscous

Add two spoon chopped tomato, two spoon carrot, 3 spoon boiled chickpea, 2 spoon chopped cucumber, chopped mint leaves, fresh coriander,  green chilli, few drops of lemon juice, one spoon olive oil, crushed black pepper

Mix all ingredients nicely

Add salt if  needed

Mediterranean Couscous salad is ready to serve

Enjoy immediately or cover in refrigerate and cool and serve
